The Minister of HRD, Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank”, will be the chief guest of the event. CTOs and CIOs from close to two dozen companies like Microsoft, Indigo, DIAL, Sony, HCL Technologies etc. will be part of esteemed panel of judges to evaluate the projects.
With close to 100 selected projects to be showcased in the event, the range of innovations will be quite unique – from an automated system that can detect violence (or even riots), presence of guns, or any other incendiary objects using drone imagery to use of waste water sludge for developing a bio-degradable alternative to plastic.
The faculty coordinator of the event, Dr Tanveer Ahmed, said, “By conducting an event of this magnitude, we are not only demonstrating our technical strengths to the world, but we are also inviting everyone to witness the evolution of Bennett University into a research and innovation hub of the highest quality.”
