CBSE Board Exam 2020 Pass Marks for Class 10th & Class 12th students

NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the subject-wise maximum and minimum marks for Class 10th and Class 12th Theory and Practical/Project/Internal Assessment.

As per the guidelines released by the CBSE Board, in order to pass the Class 12th, students have to obtain atleast 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in Practical/Project/Internal Assessment in addition to 33% marks in aggregate in each subject.

As per pass criteria for Class 10th, students have to obtain overall 33% marks in each subject, both theory and practical/internal assessment taken together, in order to pass the examination.

The Practical/Project/Internal Assessment will be conducted by the schools and the same will be examined by an External Examiner appointed by the CBSE Board.

For Subject NCC, the Practical exam at Class 12 will be conducted by the examiner appointed by Directorate of NCC, while in case of Class 10, as there is internal assessment, no external examiner will be appointed by CBSE/Directorate of NCC.

Schools will upload the marks on the official website of the CBSE after Practical, Project/Internal Assessment components for Class 10 and Class 12 (as applicable).
